Greetings, surfer,
And yes, I do know that this is a cheesy FrontPage
design. One day I'll make it pretty - perhaps. This is primarily a
collection of odds and sods connected with Freemasonry and, for those on
the square, I hope it will help you take your daily step. For everyone
else, with a bit of luck, this might show that we are not the great
shibboleths the popular press would have you believe.
Any rants, views, ravings or ramblings are my views -
they are not necessarily endorsed by my lodge (let alone anyone higher
up the food chain).

Antient Charges |
These are
the exhortations to a Freemason governing his religious,
civic and moral duties as well as his behaviour in
Lodge. They date from c. 1722.
|
Antient Regulations
|
This
is a basic constitution for Freemasons, again dating
from the 1720s. |
|
The Regius Manuscript |
The Regius Manuscript is
one of the oldest Masonic Documents to be discovered. It
was written between 1350 and 1450 A.D. with the
preponderance of authority dating it at about 1390. It
is in the form of a rude epic poem and probably the work
of a priest or monk who had access to older Masonic
documents. The original is in the language of Chaucer -
this is a translation.

Short Talks |
A collection of short essays and talks on various Masonic topics. These are
primarily American. They are reproduced with the kind permission of the Grand Lodge of Louisiana.

|
Candidate Education |
The
Grand
Lodge of Arkansas produces a series of pamphlets
entitled the Candidate Education Series. These pages
contain an excellent "mini refresher course in Masonry".
|
|
Research Lodges |
Many Masons are
interested in research - the esoteric side of the
craft, its history, etc. Many research lodges have a web
presence, and this is a set of links to those that I
like.

Other Resources |
My collection of links
to other sites that have excellent content - mostly
Masonic, but there are some that aren't.
